Power outage measures for automated warehouses! Emergency power supply utilizing electric forklifts [Two case studies]
Demonstration in existing and newly established automated warehouses! BCP measures supporting outbound operations during power outages. When an automated warehouse stops due to a power outage, there is a risk that products cannot be shipped. Daishin's "iGen.10000LF" is an emergency power supply inverter that can supply three-phase 200V from an electric forklift (DC48V). We would like to introduce two case studies of implementation in existing and newly established automated warehouses. [Case Studies] a. Existing Automated Warehouse: Demonstrated the operation of the automated rack system. Also supports power supply to shutters and control servers. b. Newly Established Automated Warehouse: Integrated BCP measures from the planning stage and confirmed the actual outbound operations of products. By utilizing the electric forklifts owned, we propose a new power outage countermeasure that does not rely on generators.
